Tuesday, 23 July at 7.00 pm. “Diplomacy” is our next production at Glen Street Theatre. It is the Opening Night for the show starring John Bell and John Gaden and is an Ensemble Production. This brilliant play with many twists and turns is an edge of your seat thriller – a show not to be missed. Tickets are $68.40 and as it is for opening night, payment will be required as soon as possible.

Wednesday, 31 July at 1.00 pm. The long awaited Muriel’s Wedding which has opened to rave reviews in Melbourne is finally arriving in Sydney shortly. You may remember we first indicated our booking over 12 months ago. Our seats for this show are the centre of E and F Rows about the best in the house. I will send a follow up reminder to everyone who booked seats as we do still have a few left sell. Tickets are $90.00 each and although I have asked for payment at our May meeting, I have been able to get a small extension of time if that makes things easier for you. Electronic Payments will be accepted until Thursday 30th May 2019. So you know what to do if you wish to join the crowds going to Porpoise Spit. You’re terrible Muriel !!!!!!!

Tuesday 30 July at 11.00 am – A joyous hand-clapping celebration of the swinging sixties, What’s New Pussycat performed by Australia’s favourite cabaret duo, Melissa Langton and Mark Jones, is coming to Glen Street Theatre on Tuesday 30th July at 11.00am. Performing hits from Tom Jones, Burt Bacharach, the Mamas and the Papas , Petula Clark, Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Carole King and the Fab Four, this show is described as Sensational Cabaret at its’ best.
Tickets are $26.00 each and should be booked as soon as possible.

Tuesday 27 August at 11.00 am. Starring the wonderful Glen Amer and Vov Dylan, the world’s fastest violinist is on at Glen Street Theatre. Tickets as usual are $26 each – a great show with Glen Amer described as having the fingers of Liberace and the superb voice of Marion Lanza. From classics to Latin and Jazz to Musicals, there is something for everyone. A splash of Gypsy, a burst of Country you will be thoroughly entertained by these beloved classics. Come on join the gang for this great show.
West Side Story – Sydney Opera House
Wednesday, 28 August at 1.00 pm. SOLD OUT. The long awaited West Side Story at the Sydney Opera House and still has a waiting list and payments can be made as soon as possible. Many have paid already. Final date for payments is the 13th June, 2019. This should be the show of the year. I am looking at travel to the Opera House by the new bus 141 from Glenrose and then a ferry ride to the Opera House to avoid the problems of parking for those who are able. Further details to follow in the next Newsletter. Tickets are $79.90. I believe I have no cancellations from my original booking.

Who would miss the Wharf Revue 2019, with the fabulous show written and created by Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe and Phillip Scott. We ordered 15 tickets for the Matinee and already 8 have been reserved, there is no chance of getting extra tickets for this show.
