Croatia and Slovenia
Members will be aware that in March 2020, Committee cancelled the 2020 Tour.
Travellers’ health and wellbeing over the Tour duration remains most important and there are simply not adequate certainties evident now to enable the 2021 Tour to proceed so Committee decided in November to withdraw approval of the 2021 Tour. No specific alternative has been considered.
Advice has been given to all intending travellers including options to utilise deposits paid in the past.
Sri Lanka / South India
Given the difficulty in the overseas travel scene, those who previously expressed interest in Sri Lanka / South India have been informed that we would not re-start any initiative given too many unknowns.
Outback Queensland – South West circuit from Longreach
While there is encouragement from industry and some governments to see Australia, for a Club such as ours, it remains unwise while health issues can intervene at any time in any place at quite short notice and create an unwelcome impact. Until those factors are removed, it is not appropriate to pursue this type of tour.
