Twenty six of us went to Linnwood Historical home at Guilford on Thursday, 7 March. Dorothy and Helen were very passionate about the home and gardens.
It was a beautiful home. Most of the period furniture was on loan from the local community. The stained glass throughout the home was fantastic.
Fourteen of us finished off the day by having a yummy lunch at the Merrylands Bowling Club.

Drive yourself/car share outing
This is an iconic cruise just one hour from the centre of Sydney – delivering the mail to the isolated water-access-only residents of the magnificent Hawkesbury River on behalf of Australia Post (as well as other daily essentials like milk, papers, the odd bottle of rum).
This is a great trip. I am looking forward and hoping to see new members join us on the outing. Thirty seats are reserved at present on the boat. The cost includes morning tea and a Ploughman’s Lunch
This will be a car share day out or by public transport.

Tour of Corbett Gardens and Retford House Bowral and Tulip Tops.
Magnificent Tulip Top gardens capturing the essence of tulips, flowers, fauna and surrounding landscape whilst classical music plays ambient in the background. Facilities are excellent with clean accessible bathrooms. Plenty of comfortable seating throughout the gardens that are well spaced. Activities include famous artists as well as great musicians. A wonderful atmosphere for families, couples and elderly persons. Thank you to all involved in the creation of the Tulip Top Gardens as you create magic through flowers.
